Still a Satisfied U.S. Cellular Customer After All These Years

I am providing this information to you as a U.S. Cellular long time customer and now blog ambassador. All opinions are my my own.

My husband and I have been U.S. Cellular customers for seven years now! That's a long time to be with a cell phone company and never switch. I'm not saying we haven't ever thought about it, over the years I've looked into many other service providers and we always come back to U.S. Cellular. Being a company we trust and appreciate, I am excited to announce that I will be part of the U.S. Cellular Blogger Brigade as one of their Blog Ambassadors! Over the next several months I will be sharing news about U.S. Cellular and what they offer as well as our (my husband and I) experience with their service, products, and customer service among many other topics.

Whether it was finding information regarding our contracts (no more contacts with U.S. Cellular,) using our reward points, changing devices, or billing information everyone has always been extremely helpful to us.

U.S. Cellular was named a J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Champion in 2012 for the second year in a row. In 2013, the company received their 15th consecutive J.D. Power and Associates' award for "Highest Network Quality Performance Among Wireless Cell Phone Users in The North Central Region."

Did you know they have a strong line-up of great devices? All backed by the high-speed network that actually has the highest call quality of any national carrier. When I was looking for my last smart phone, U.S. Cellular really gained my respect in telling me how some of the devices I was looking at compared to those that they didn't offer, in truthful factual information. And as far as quality goes, I never have phone calls dropped and have quality network connection is most everywhere I go. Just two more reasons we can't go wrong with U.S. Cellular. If you're looking for a provider you can trust, find great programs (more to come), and have quality products and service I encourage you to look into U.S. Cellular for your area.

ChickyBoom : Eco-Friendly Wooden Children's Game from Blue Orange

I am so tired of purchasing games that do not last, even when they're taken care of properly. With having a large family we want things that all of our children can enjoy over the years. Blue Orange games has ecofriendly wooden games that are made to last, are good for the environment & are fun to play.

We received ChickyBoom a wooden game that is high quality made and will last. It's all about balance with this game. What you do is place the chickens on different pieces (hay bales, wheels) on a balancing plank/perch. Then you take turns removing one thing at a time (each worth different point value) until the perch looses balance and they all fall off. Whoever has the most points in the end, wins. All my kids enjoyed it, but at the ages of 5 & 7 they had a hard time getting the perch set up on their own. It was hard to keep them all together & balance. With our help though they have played countless hours and has helped them learn how to remove different weighed items to keep the board balanced and which end to take from. I admit my husband and I have had a bit of fun with it ourselves.

Lilliputiens Baby Toys available at HABA

My little man is coming up on six months and is reaching and wanting something to squeeze, touch and bite on. Other than teething products, I've never got all that excited about baby toys. My kids never seemed to care about them all that much, but when I heard one of my favorite companies, HABA was going to be the exclusive US distributor of Lilliputiens, I figured I had better give them a try.

Lilliputiens are a small line of fairytale rattles, puppets and squeakers created by a team of five Belgian mothers. All the toys are uniquely hand made in Asia and has their own story. Soft material and adorable characters, the designs are fantastic and perfect for the little ones (or even my three year old for that matter.)

My little guy received Walter Acti-Dragon the interactive rattle, which is geared for three months and up. My little guy has had it for the past month and honestly, it's his favorite toy! He can easily grasp  the crinkle wing and shake him, so he hears the rattle in the hind legs and bell in the belly. Walter's little nose pokes up just enough that he loves to chew on it. I really like how soft the fabric is for him and that the noises aren't too much. Some rattles drive me nuts.

Walter Acti-Dragron also features a mirror, squeaky muzzle, a side pocket that has a star on a string, which is attached, so as your child develops there continues to be things they will enjoy. This has become our go-to toy for Henrik, he really enjoys it and it delights me to have found something that won't bonk his head as he's moving it around but still makes gentle noises he likes.

Both are lace, but not lace that easily tears, fits true to size and are perfect for most any occasion. The Tank Lace top is currently on sale.

Family Water Park Fun at Magic Waters

School is almost out and it's time to start thinking about what fun activities you and your family will be doing over break. If you love water parks and getting wet then I encourage you to check out one of the largest water parks in Illinois, Magic Waters water park in Cherry Valley. Every time we go shopping my kids ask when we are going to go and it's been years since my husband and I were there, so we've decided this is the perfect year to take our family.

Head to Toe Fashion from Kohl's

When you're a mom, especially if you have little children convenience speaks a lot to you. The option of being able to look put together at an affordable price & being able to dress yourself and your family from head to toe all from the same store can make all the difference in the world if you're limited on time. It does for me anyway! I was never a huge fan of Kohl's until the last few years, mostly being because I didn't give it a fair chance. However, anymore I know I can find apparel for all four of my children, my husband and myself that are trendy, cute and affordable all in one place. I love too that Kohl's offers several different brands, so either mix and match the brands to make the perfect outfit or find your favorite and stick to them!

Above is an outfit I put together available at Kohl's from the summer collection. Three different brands; Elle, Daisy Fuentes & Dana Buchman. Let me tell you about each piece, available in store and online.

The Daisy Fuentes Solid Roll Top in available in two different colors. It's a sheer top, so I would recommend wearing a cami underneath (remember cami's are slimming), a little longer in the back and shorter in the front but flows really nice. The roll tab sleeves give it a casual look but still looks great dressed up.

Cuffed Denim Capri's in white from Elle have become a real staple in my wardrobe. White is so trendy and looks great with so many different colors. It's easy to mix and match, I'm sure you will see these a lot more in upcoming posts. I love that these have just the right amount of stretch and are very comfortable. They also come with a cute silver belt, and a girl can never go wrong with more accessories. These capri's are available in a total of five colors.

Dana Buchman Tara Pleated Hobo is a great handbag for summer. It's light weight faux leather, with a shoulder strap, pockets & magnetic closure. It's just the right size for everyday errands or out with friends and with the red/carmel color is great to pair with most anything.

What I Wore Real Mom Style (Vol 16) #RealMomStyle

Welcome to What I Wore Real Mom Style! First off I wanted to share that I have officially been considered a real fashion blogger from a great community, and I can't wait to dive in head first with more from that, stay tuned. Along those lines, I truly hope some of my fashion sparks some creativity among you awesome ladies out there. We all have flaws, our bodies are different sizes and shapes, yet we should still be able to feel good no matter what our size or clothing budgets. I'm hear to tell you.. I'm for real! I've had four babies and been pregnant six times, I have ups and down. I love fashion though & it may not be top notch, but I feel comfortable in my own skin!! That's why we started Real Mom Style, because we may not have been models but we still look and feel great. Rock on Mommas!!!

I wore this outfit to our local mom's group (wave to my local friends) & hosted movie night this past week. I've been gardening outside all week, so it felt nice to get dressed out of my work-like clothes & do my hair.. to not only look presentable but feel nice too. I'm loving my little guys shadow in this photo.. I'm creating future photographers my friends. Ha! 

I'm digging the mint pants lately and these went on sale a couple of weeks ago and I snatched them up as soon as I saw them on Facebook. I have so many ideas for them! I also got this top while thrifting (thanks to all you ladies showing all the fabulous things you find while thrifting), however I know why they got rid of it. It's next to impossible to hold a baby without all the sequences falling off everywhere. I felt like a shedding dog and won't be wearing it anymore. It was fun though!

Undercover Mama Nursing Camisole #Giveaway (Ends 5/31)

I've been a breastfeeding mother for on and off almost 8 years, most on then off. I'm blessed to be able to nurse my children, but since I like to be modest and a nursing cover doesn't always work, I wear a camisole under everything. It keeps my midsection covered and wearing a camisole a lot of times helps smooth and slim your overall appearance.

A few years back I was introduced to Undercover Mama and the strapless camisoles. I loved the concept and wore mine as often as I could. My only problem was that it didn't work with most of my bras because I was of a larger breast size. Since I was a bigger size I have bras that are more supportive and the clasp wouldn't fit onto several of my bras. Undercover Mama however is completely amazing and knew that was a problem for a lot of women, and now offer the clasp & the quick and easy loop. All their tank tops come with both and whichever one you don't want to use, it can easily be tucked behind the other.

If you're unfamiliar, let me explain how the Undercover Mama Works. Whether you use the clasp or loop, you slide it over the top part of your nursing bra cup area, right below where you would connect the cup to the strap of your bra. Then when you want to nurse your baby, you just un-hook your bra and pull down not only the cup part of your bra but the top of the camisole. It's incerdibly easy and and the perfect solution for women who use camisoles regularly. I can't tell you how often I stretch the neck out of my camisoles because I pull them down to nurse, with the Undercover Mama, that never happens. The camisoles are also long and come in a variety of colors and sizes.

If you're a breastfeeding mother, I can't recommend this nursing camisole enough. Fashionable Children's Shoes from Venettini

In my ideal world I would be one of those mother's that has daily or at best weekly crafts ready for my children & we would laugh and have fun and show daddy all we made when we got home. Like I said we received the Time Travel Wummbelbox that my three and five year old enjoyed. My little ones didn't even understand the traveling back in time and the stone age, so this was a great teaching tool and even fun for my seven year old.

We got to build a time machine, where they painted wood with water colors (that actually worked), put stickers on to decorate and screw on the wheels. We traveled back to the dinosaurs and met up with some woolly mammoths. It was our favorite activity.

They also did painting on fabric to look like cave painting, and we made stamps to make the mammoth, fire and more. Crated the Hunter & Gatherer game where you throw a die and follow animal tracks . It was a lot of fun, and I liked that everything was included so I didn't have to search for most things. My kids enjoyed it & I'd love to check out another months fun!

Women's Fashion from Ronen Chen

It really has the perfect balance of stripes from the mid-section and then the cream on top and ending in the black. I'm wearing it with a black pencil skirt or a night out with my love!

The Moma Tunic is lovely as well, the same look as the Brooklyn Top, but pair it with heels or flats for any occasion. I'm going to get tons of use out of this come back into fall when I shed just a few more pounds. I love the thick black stripe and it's the perfect length and shape for a tunic. A lot of times a tunic is to flouncy and gives you absolutely no shape, but this hugs you right where it needs to and gives you a feminine look while not looking frumpy. Another piece that can be for the casual day wear to weekend fun.

What I Wore Real Mom Style. Happy Mother's Day! (Vol 15) #RealMomStyle

Happy Mother's Day! I'll be spending the day at the hockey court unless we get rained out watching my son and husband play and hubby coach the little ones. Here's what I wore to church this past Sunday.

I love this outfit and both the top and bottoms are from Kohl's. They're fairly new and I'm going to be featuring them later this week in a fashion post for Kohl's. The skinny capri's have fulfilled my need for a pair of skinny white capri's for the summer. They're so soft, have the perfect amount of stretch and aren't overly hot for the warm days! There's nothing not to love about them. As you can see I'm back wearing my too long of bangs in my face. Ha!

I have boys and my boys love vehicles, especially my three year old.
