All about The Momma's!

My name is Andrea, and I'm a 27 year old Catholic wife and mom! I've been married to my wonderful husband for 4.5 amazing years. We have a boy who's four, a little girl who is two, new baby boy, with an angel in heaven looking down on us.

I used to to work as a registered nurse and when I had my first baby,my husband and I decided that my vocation was to be a mother and I decided to become a stay at home mom. I love it have never looked back since. I'm an extended breastfeeding, home birthing, cloth diapering, attached parenting, baby-wearing momma who takes my vocation in strides and am learning my way as I go. I love my Catholic faith and without it I would be lost. I strive daily to follow Christ and the Church in my actions and words. I love spending time with my family & friends - meaning everyone and that's a lot!

I started blogging as a hobby, just another way to reach other mom's through my family blog. I have met so many amazing people that have really changed my life. Reviewing happened to come falling into my lap as I had a few companies e-mail me asking my opinion on products and if I would review for them. With an excited yes and much prayer I decided I would try out the whole reviews and giveaway thing. So here I am with my Review Blog - Momma In Flip Flops2, which I didn't think would become much, but is slowly and steadily growing and and I'm loving everything about it! I love working with different people and getting the word out on some absolute fabulous things, not to mention trying things is definitely on the flip side. I welcome any feedback from my readers as well.

Momma In Flip Flops2 - why this name!? Well I love Flip Flops and I wear them all the time. I love all shoes really but flip flops are very convenient and being a mom you need convenience. It just came to me one day that I was a momma who wore flip flops and so the name was born. The 2 is nothing really significant except it was my second blog so I added a two. Kind of dorky I know!

My name is Sara, and I have just been pulled into the blogging/review world by my big sister Andrea, well maybe not bigger (she's a shortie) but older, hehe. I'm 24 years old and have been married to my wonderful Jake for about 6 months. Things are moving fast in our life, which is how we like it, and we now have our first baby on the way and cannot wait until December! We don't know if we are having a boy or a girl but we are quickly learning from Andrea (mommainflipflops of 3 now) all about cloth diapers, slings and the best strollers. I currently work as a child and family therapist but am looking forward to when our baby is born and I become a full time momma. I inherited another member of our family through marriage, my husband's English bulldog, Sophie. I try and tell myself that God is getting me ready for babies by getting used to cleaning up her hair and love drops that she leaves around the house...I still need a lot of patience in that area, but am looking forward to working with everyone by helping out Andrea with her review blog.

A former city girl from Wisconsin now loving the country life in the cornfields of Illinois. A lover of furry animals and not so furry animals alike. Prefers washing diapers to washing dishes.
