I must admit before going any further I'm not much of a bib person. We literally got so many bibs when my son was born that I had to give them away never even opened. We just never use them. Now that the baby girl is up at the table though, we're learning to use bibs a bit more. She has very sensitive skin and when anything gets on her chest she breaks out. Well the regular everyday bibs are just not cutting it so when I got the chance to review DaBib I was very excited.
DaBib isn't like any other bib I've seen or used. First off the Scrunch Collar is amazing, it really keeps the food and juices off your baby; which is great for sensitive skin and even better when you don't want that adorable outfit to get anything on it. Also the Hidden food pouch - how many times have you put a bib on and you stand the kid up and all the food is in their lap? Basically every time here! I was a bib reluctant at first, that it wouldn't really catch the food, but I was wrong - you
can ask my 3 year old if you don't believe; he's fully tested these bibs out as well.
There's two styles right now DaHugs and the DaGiggles, both great and don't scrunch and shrink when washed. The Hugs is microfiber terry front and a waterproof back and yes the little food pouch is there. The Giggles is a wipe-off, waterproof bib with the food pouch. Both are big enough to actually cover the entire chest and tummy (both worked great on both my one and three year old). I also love how the front closure is easily adjustable depending on the size of your child's neck. The only downfall is that my daughter kept trying to tear it off, which make it bad - but she does that with any kind whether it's closure is on the front or the back!
I really like Dabib and for someone who doesn't like to use bibs I want to use this all the time. I like that it's made out of environmentally friendly materials, is non-toxic and lead-free as well! Oh and you won't be disappointed on the styles - very cute!
