Picture Keeper - Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

I am rarely ever without my camera. I love capturing big events and everyday life with my kids. So why don't I take the time to backup all those pictures? Because it's a hassle! Figuring out which pictures you haven't already backed up and burning them to CD is just a long, boring process that needs to be repeated over and over again.
The makers of the Picture Keeper say backing up all your pictures can be fast and easy! The Picture Keeper is a flash drive with software embedded directly on it to automatically seek out all the .jpg and .jpeg pictures on your computer and back them up. Automatically! The Picture Keeper I received took almost 3 hours to back up over 11,000 pictures! I don't even want to imagine how long it would've take to back up all those pictures the old fashioned way. I was very happy to just let the Picture Keeper do the work while I did other things!

After your initial back up, the Picture Keeper will only save new or changed pictures so the back
up won't take nearly as long to complete. Since the software is on the actual Picture Keeper device, you can use the same Picture Keeper to back up pictures on multiple computers. The Picture Keeper works with both Windows and Mac and advanced options are even available to back up additional file types. Not surprisingly, the Picture Keeper was just the winner of a Dr. Toy Best Vacation Product for Summer 2009 award!

Buy It! Picture Keeper is available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and now even 160GB capacities and can be purchased directly from http://www.picturekeeper.com Check out their free tutorial to find out which size best suits your needs. If not all your pictures are saved in your My Pictures folder, I'd suggest going for the next biggest size from what the tutorial says you'll need. According to the tutorial, I just barely needed the 8GB but after doing my backup it is already 97% full due to all the pictures I had in my My Documents folder. Use Coupon Code Blogger10 and get 10% off your purchase at Picture Keeper.com.

Win It! One Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win a Picture Keep in the capacity that you need (either a 4GB or 8GB is available). To Enter.
*Visit Picture Keeper and take the Tutorial to see what size you need and/or tell us why you need a picture keep to back up your photos.

I have seen this Picture Keeper reveiwed on a couple of blogs and am so impressed because I have a zillion (slightly exaggerated) pictures that are on my computer and like you, trying to remember which are saved on disc, if I can remember how to do it (format, write, save, yada, yada, yada) is incredible. Plus with my disability, I don't always use my desktop, I often use my laptop while lying down and to be able to have a removable flash drive would be wonderful so I could post pictures on my blog from either computer would be fantastic!!
Thanks for the chance to win this amazing product (the 8gb).

I have a hard time converting to disc and I use 2 different computers to do my blog as I am disabled and sometimes have to work in bed on the laptop, so I need a transportable medium.

I need the 16gb for all our pictures. My daughter is now an "artist" who takes pictures by the scores. Not only does she take pictures but she's learning to photoshop them. She is getting very good at it and I hate to lose any of her work. In addtion to that, we take scads of family pictures, our house and landscape in progress pictures and I just don't have the time to scrapbook them all. I fear I'll end up losing them someday to a computer crash.

Thanks so much for this contest!
