It's that time of year again, everyone is back in school and cold's and flus are everywhere. A Mother's Boutique {Giveaway Has Ended}

Awhile back I had the opportunity to work with A Mother's Boutique on a review for the lovely Sidney Faux Wrap, both a maternity and nursing shirt that looks great when worn for either. You can read my review of the shirt while being worn while I was pregnant. I want to let you know what I think now that I'm wearing this shirt as a post-pregnancy, nursing shirt!

Firstly it's a very flattering shirt and though worn quite a bit while pregnant it didn't loose it's shape for wearing post-pregnancy. I love the side tie to give it a nice fitted look, and the extra length in the torso for the bulge I haven't lost yet. I feel dressed up and sophisticated in this shirt, unlike some nursing shirts you get that are baggy and boring. For nursing you easily pull over the crossover neckline and you're able to nurse easily. I never gave nursing apparel a good try until I had our third and I can honestly say it makes life a lot easier as a breastfeeding mother if you have a shirt that functions nicely as a nursing shirt. You can still feel and look great, without having to wear these shirts that are entirely too large for you because you need to be able to lift with ease to nurse your baby comfortably. I would recommend the Annee Matthew Sidney Faux Wrap that comes in different colors, 3/4 sleeves and long sleeves as well as the short sleeved I have from A Mother's Boutique.

ERGObaby {Review}

I was a big advocate of babywearing ever since I had my second child, I really didn't know how anyone could function without wearing their baby - but now that I've had baby number there and have two toddlers at home I'm even more set that if you don't baby-wear you're crazy! =) Seriously, how would I get anything done and make my baby happy? The ERGObaby Carrier is yet another fabulous baby carrier and you do not have to just believe me. I have several friends who own one and it's by far their top favorite.

I received the ERGObaby carrier just in time for the new baby, but since I do not have an infant insert I have yet to be able to carry him in one. I have heard some great things about the new Heart2Heart newborn insert though and would love to eventually purchase one. I'm loving to use the ERGO with my two year old right now (yes she still baby-wears quite often) because it's very structured, has padded shoulders, easily adjustable and is very supportive. You can easily carry around an older child. What's really nice is that you can easily wear the ERGO on your back, hip and front by easily adjusting the straps. I love the video instructions they have on the website to make it even easier for you. There's a great pocket to place keys and other essentials in the carrier, so if you're out and about and don't have a bunch of extra space, your hands are full with two other little hands (like mine) you just throw it in there! I wanted to tell you about a really great feature the ERGObaby website has for gently used carriers. It's not always possible to spends $100's of dollars on a baby carrier, but I know many would love to have one. I received one of these gently used carriers and I can tell you, I couldn't tell it was ever used - it looks fantastic! Back 2 School with Aunt Jemima {Giveaway Has Ended}

Everyone is back into the swing of things with school, including my loving husband! Zhu Zhu Pets {Giveaway Has Ended}

I do have a place in my heart for pets, contrary to what a lot of people may think. I'm just not interested in having any in my home and we're not at a place in our lives to appropriately take care of a pet outdoors. So as strange as it may sound to some I was really happy to receive the Zhu Zhu Pets - Hamsters and accessories for my children!

What you ask is a Zhu Zhu Hamster? Well they're fun, interactive hamsters that move, talk and navigate their way around their own little or big habitats... without the stink and mess to clean up after. Once you're finished having tons of fun, shut them off and put them away. I will admit, at first I figured the idea was probably better thought about then actually playing - I was wrong. My children have had hours of fun with these and since we received them the night before we had the new baby it was great to have a new, incredibly fun distraction for them to play with. Our little hamsters (which all come with names) roamed their house and all the fun there was to do in it as well as our home, on their surf board, car, and adventure wheel. There are even blankets, and beds for your hamster to purchase. Don't just take my families word for how great these are, we had tons of people in and out since the baby was born and everyone had to play with our interactive hamsters and their fun accessories. I actually had a few people think they were real and thought I had finally broke down and bought my kids and house pet. Ha ha ha! The only thing we didn't really like about the Zhu Zhu Pets was that their house and all the accessories if leaned on and if you weren't gentle came apart for you to put back together again - which can be discouraging to children and annoying to parents. Also the set up (depending on how much you have) takes awhile and must be done by an older child or adult.

Zhu Zhu pets really are fun and as close to real as you can get. This would be a great Christmas present and think, you could even have family buy accessories, make Christmas buying easy for EVERYONE! Pedipeds {Review}

I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes to find a cute and stylish pair of shoes for their child, yet it must be comfortable and good for a child's growing feet. My daughter's little foot has grown enough to finally get to try out the Flex shoes from Pediped. I am just as happy with the Flex's features and benefits as I was with the Originals. The shoe fits great, is supportive, and comfortable. I like the cushion heel, the skid resistant rubber soles, and the quality of the Pediped shoes are fantastic. My daughter is looking great in her Mckennas. A classic shoes that can be worn with nearly all outfits, a dress, jeans or skirts for fall. Jacquard - Hoop Painting {Giveaway Has Ended}

For those of you who have follow and read a lot of the reviews here at Momma In Flip Flops2, you will notice that we're quickly becoming fans of most all the products Jacquard carries. They are fun, educational and great for families. Since we had the new baby it's harder for me to do a lot of the same crafty type of projects with my four year old - we have a little cranky pants on our hands. I was extremely excited to get the chance to have an art project, Hoop Painting Fun Bag from Jacquard to do with my son.

We had fun doing this fun creative project - my son just painted on his silk hoop and I attempted to paint around a pattern! Even for those that aren't very artistic (ahem - myself) this is easy. You get three silk hoops, 3 Dye-Na Colors, paint brushes, silk salt with instructions. You can draw designs with the paint bottles (special techniques are done to make things turn out exactly how you would like), use the salt to create bursts on your picture and more. It's not hard at all and I hope to use our last hoop to really make something spectacular for my sons room. The only thing I would like if the instructions were a bit more clear, my husband and I typically do not have problems with following anything but we both were struggling with this. Though our paintings turned out fairly cute (we went from a sunny day to raining while we were working on our project) I'm sure now that we have more insight on how to follow the next will turn out great.

Glamourmom {Giveaway Has Ended}

If you're a breastfeeding mother, we all know how nice it is to have a nursing bra tank that actually fits correctly, that you can either wear under your clothing or just as a tank top. Glamourmom carries several different types/styles of Nursing Bra tanks as well as sleepwear, a few non-nursing tanks for those of you who love Glamourmom but aren't nursing, and other items.

I received the Glamourmom, Nursing Bra Long Tank. I absolutely love how long this tank top it, especially while transitioning out of maternity clothing into regular apparel or nursing apparel. I'm not like some people who are instantly back to their pre-pregnancy weight. It falls down and covers enough that if my pants are a little big I don't have to worry about plumbers crack and it's much more stylish. There are several cute colors and this is actually machine washable; which is great. The only thing I have a hard time with is I purchased a large to accommodate my breast size but the elastic band is a bit tight and the material loosens and doesn't hold me up after awhile. I have only heard fantastic things about Glamourmom, but for me my breasts aren't supported quite well enough. They have an excellent sizing chart, so you an be sure to get the correct size. I also like the mesh like inner lining where your breasts hit the material. It's soft to note chafe and dries quickly (for those times when leaking occurs). The quality of the tank I received is great, holding up excellent and I do wear this often around the home!

Clean + Green {Giveaway} CONTEST ENDED

Just before I sat down to write this review today I had yet another chance to use the Clean + Green Carpet and Upholstery cleaner from Sea Yu Enterprises...Our English bulldog, Sophie, decided that while I was out mowing the grass it was a good time to let loose in the house!!! Needless to say I was pretty frustrated but not nearly as much as I would have been if I had not been able to get that smell out! Anyone who has a pet (especially a dog or cat) understands that cleaning up after a pet can be incredibly challenging, especially because for some reason pets seem to prefer to go on your nice furniture or new rug...grrr...It can be a constant struggle between who you love more, a clean and pee free couch or your beloved pooch. When I got a chance to review the Clean + Green cleaning products I jumped at the opportunity.

I have tried a lot of the eco-friendly DIY products like baking soda and vinegar but was not especially pleased with the results, they often got the urine out but left my couch smelling like vinegar. What I loved most about this product was that not only was it non-toxic (for a pregnant girl like me), but it isn't one of those products that just masks the smell either. The only thing worse than a peed on couch is one that smells like febreeze and is still peed on! I like to at least know what I am sitting in! This product worked great, it cleaned the urine and it did not leave a floral scent, it just smelled clean...Like new furniture. Finally a product that can do the job and leave a nice but not overwhelming scent. I give this product an A+ for improving not only the smell and cleanliness of my home but also my relationship with our family dog.

Well, I had that happen to me. Plan Toys - Activity Bus {Review}

My kids received a very fun and educational toy just in time for seeing all those school buses driving by our home. My children are not in school, but they freak out over any school bus they see, so when we received the Activity Bus from a website called Plan Toys which makes safe, green toys I knew it was going to be a hit. Not only for the kids but a toy that makes mom and dad happy as well.

I really like this toy Activity Bus because it's made from organic rubber wood and is really holding up well to my kids bumping, ramming ways of playing, unlike many toys we have. The Activity Bus is a school bus on wheels that opens up to a school room. It has three desks, two people, books, chalk board and all fits back into the school bus when you close it back up to drive away. I'm not sure how my children will handle going to school, but I believe this would be excellent for those that have to ride the bus or may have a hard time going - letting them play and pretend school for fun. I love toys like this, that have your children use their imagination while playing -there are far to many toys that have your child just sit and look at it while it makes sounds, etc. This is my kind of toy! You can even add more fun with the other compatible sets like the car, playground and villas, which are available at Plan Toys, not to mention the ton of other products available with this quality.
