Easter is almost here - I'm so excited. Winter has been hard for me this year and anything that brings the thought of spring gets me excited. I recently received an email about the children's book Hey, Rabbit! by Sergio Ruzzier, that looks like it's going to be a fun read for my children and I. Though I have yet to read the book myself, I have had a chance to check out a video, game and browse the website that also shows other books by this author. The book Hey Rabbit! is about a rabbit that has a suitcase that pulls out all kinds of great things for all his friends. A book just in time for the Easter Bunny to read with your children. Check out the site for the video, game and to read more about the book and other books Sergio Ruzzer has written.Win! One lucky ready will a fun Easter Package that includes - An Easter Basket, a large Lindt Chocolate Bunny, Easter Eggs and an original signed and inked watercolor framed drawing of Rabbit and the book Hey, Rabbit! ReplyDeleteHmm it would have to be the Easter egg hunts we had when I was a child. We used to get together at a friend of parent's and they would hold a a big hunt. We moved away and didn't get to participate any longer, but it's a good memory. :) Jenprincess88 at aol dot com

ReplyDeleteHow fun. Never entered an Easter giveaway before. Let's see. Favorite Easter memory. Well I loved going to church with all the lilies and the feeling of hope that seemed to lift the church up in song on that Sunday. One of my favorites is "Hymn of Promise" -- Easter seems to signal spring, birth and regrowth from a dreary winter. We usually got a picture taken outside to see how much we had grown since last Easter, and of course we also had some Easter bunny visiting type of thing. One year, the Easter Bunny decided to 'hide' my basket in the laundry hamper. I think a parent finally found it for me. I love the idea of the print giveaway, and that's why I'm entering, for a pretty picture for our new house and baby's (toddler, I guess) new room!

My favorite Easter memory is of my firstborn's very 1st Easter egg hunt. He almost got ran over by all the other "big" kids rushing the field for eggs (at our church's Easter celebration), but he didn't panic and even managed to get some eggs in the chaos of it all. =)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter memory was that my grandmother would make my 2 cousins and I our Easter dresses every year (she was a fabulous seamstress). Mine would always be purple (my fav. color) and my two cousins had their favorite colors! When my little sister was 3 (I'm 14 years older) we took her to an Easter Egg hunt. I watched as they finished putting out what I figured were the prize eggs. I told her to go all the way to the back and get the red egg. She did and it was a grand prize of a tricycle!!! She was so excited as was I!

ReplyDeleteI remember when I was really little my mother would always hide our easter baskets and we would have to go looking. I remember one year she hid a couple of baskets for both my sister and I. We had like 6 baskets in total between the two of us. She always made it like a scavenger hunt.
ReplyDeleteagnstcmel@aol.com
My favorite Easter memory is my sister and I making a mad-dash run through the house to where my mom had our baskets (and she would always buy the cheap pre-made ones with all the cheap toys and candy in it, but we still loved it)! Then, we would go to the park and do the big Easter egg hunt there, good times!
