Ruby's School Walk - {Giveaway Has Ended}

Can you believe it's nearly time for back to school? We've already begun working on different things this year to prepare my son for entering kindergarten next year. One thing I believe is really important is reading a lot to your children. It not only promotes great time together, but teaches children to love books and encourages reading and learning. We received the cute Ruby's School Walk written by Kathryn White for review. The book is all about a little girl and her walk to school with her mom, as they are walking to school they see all sorts of different things, like a cat that Ruby pretends is a tiger and how she must be brave and strong. She sees many different things like this along the way, but when she gets to school she's not so brave and strong. The mom smiles and tells her how she will be catching dragons and teaching fairies to fly, encouraging that playful imagination and Ruby in the ends stays and is excited about school. Very cute illustrations by Miriam Latimer make this book even more fun. My children and I have enjoyed reading it over and over again and glad to add it to our collection of books.
