I have many people in my family that wear eyeglasses. I personally wanted to wear glasses my entire life, I think they're cute. I know it sounds weird.. but that's me!
Not that long ago I went with one of my sisters to purchase her prescription glasses it was so hard to find anything that looked good, let alone fit her face properly. I remember wishing to have a chart or something to direct us as to what style and type would be the best fit for her face. It was doubly hard for her because she wanted to find cute chic glasses that were casual yet dress up and she only wanted one pair.
GlassesUSA is a site that I would be excited to check out if I were in the need of prescription eyeglasses and that's exactly where my sister ended up getting her glasses from. Not only did they have a great chart to help her look for what type would look great on her face but they had a wide variety at reasonable prices and many different styles, colors, frames and bands to choose from. Find the Perfect Swim Suit

Are you looking to find the perfect swim suit fit for your unique body shape? I know since I've had children my body isn't the same. I'm happy to embrace motherhood and face the fact that my body maynot be the same as it used to be, but it really can be super hard to purchase swimwear. Here are a few tips from Aerin Rose on how to get that perfect fit. A site founded by a woman that founded the bra-sized swimwear.

If you are full busted:

-Look for under wires combined with built-in shelf bras.
-Wide and open necklines that bring the attention to your collar bone and face will flatter a fuller bust.
-Do not wear suits that come up high over the bust because it creates the illusion of a longer and larger bust line.
-Halters are also very visually flattering on full bust but it needs to be combined with support from the wire to alleviate too much weight on the neck.
-Straps on the shoulder are another appealing option but make sure they have adjustable slides to get the perfect fit.
-Tie backs or backs with adjustability are also something important to look for to give the perfect fit.

If you are small busted:

-Look for built- in (not removable) push up pads. Some of the retro demi cup suits are adorable and well padded without looking fake.
-Avoid removable pads which can shift around and look uneven as well as show outlines when the suit gets wet.
-Ruffles and other details on the cups are also good to give the cups a fuller appearance
-Go uber sexy and just get a tini-wini triangle top, flaunt what you’ve got!

To create a smaller waistline and/or hips:

-Look for tummy control fabrics in one piece suits.
-Tankinis are a great concealer while still giving you the two piece convenience.
-For minimizing the tummy and hip area, a fabulous disguise is shirring, in any way that goes across the stomach and/or lower torso.
-Color blocking, where the outer sides of the body are a darker color than the middle visually helps to minimize hips.
-Wear leg lines that go a little higher. If the leg line is not high cut enough, it will sit too low on your hip (the widest part of your body) and draw the eye there, if it is higher your hip and leg will appear elongated and slimmer.

Lysol, Keep Allergens Away - {Giveaway has ended}

Spring is here and I am one happy girl about that, however I don't get all that thrilled about the allergies that come along with it. Luckily my children and I stay pretty healthy, however my husband and extended family don't do so well. Actually most allergy flare ups are caused from allergens outside the home but many are also inside.

A few ways you can help reduce them are:
Reduce Pet Dander - Decrease your exposure to pet dander by keeping your pet out of your bedroom, since this is typically the room in which people spend a majority of their time. Wrap Things Up - Put fabric covers over common dust mite hideouts such as pillows, mattresses and sofa cushions and wash bedding often. Clear the Air - Prevent pollen from entering your home by keeping windows and doors closed during peak allergy season. Air filters are also considered useful for helping clear the air of lingering allergens triggers. Wipe Down Surface - Be sure to frequently clean hard surfaces to get rid of allergens in your home. A few months ago I decided it was time to work on shedding the last several pounds from having the baby by working out and being accountable to my good friend while both of us got in shape. While getting started I realized just how important it is to not only have a good pair of shoes on your feet for working out properly but to have apparel that fits well and will keep you comfortable while working out. It's not fun when your bosoms are bouncing all over and your pants and shirt are tripping you up. With that said I received the Loess Tank and the High Step Judo in the Thunderbird Red, fantastic work out apparel from Mountain Hardwear. The tank has a built in shelf bra that gives me good support while working up a great sweat and bouncing and jumping all around. I really like the stretch fabric and the wicking and fast drying - great because I'm not always able to get out of those clothes after working out. The High Step Judo pant/capri's are the perfect length for running, climbing and doing most anything, very comfortable and even have a zipper in the side for storage. I have been very happy with these products and love the different colors available.

Jack's Dreams Come To Life - {Giveaway Has Ended}

Being that we have a huge collection of books at our house I'm always excited to add a new book that my children enjoy. Recently I had the opportunity to read and add to our books Jack's Dreams Come True by Sara Jackson. The book is all about a dog named Jack that lives on a ranch, falls asleep and dreams all sorts of things like being chased by a giant squirrel, dreams his toys come to life and other adventures. The illustrations of the book are great, however my son is 4.5 and my daughter 2.5 and it doesn't hold their attention that well because of the many words on several of the pages. However they do pick this as a book that they want to read, so I believe as they get older it will be much better for them. You can purchase this book on amazon.com. I love letting my children be creative - we're always doing fun different craft type of things and I encourage them to really bring their imaginations to life. With that said I recently had the opportunity to work with an amazing site called poloppo, where children can create their own art/designs and they are placed on t-shirts for everyone to see. My son is four and created his entire t-shirt all on his own, design, color and style of the shirt. First we received the T-Me Kit for kids in the short-sleeved version in the mail. I love dressing up my little guy. My family jokes that he has a new hat on every time that they see him. Getting baby all dolled up is so much fun, and baby clothes are so cute! Which is why I want to share with you Beba Bean, for babies. They are a site with clothing, shoes, toys and more! I got a chance to review their Knit Onesie for my little guy. This piece is absolutely adorable! It's a heavy knit (like a cable sweater) that snaps up and has a little hood. When I received this item I was immediately struck by the great quality of the piece. It was thick, but comfortable and it was made very well, with heavier snaps to ensure that with the heavier material it stayed snapped. I envision using this piece a lot this spring when it's too warm for his snow suit but too chilly to just wear his regular clothes around outside. It would also be perfect for fall weather for layering. I was a little concerned that it might be scratchy, I remember hating sweaters for that reason as a kid, but it was very soft and comfortable. Even if you aren't shopping for a onesie, make sure that you check out their site as their clothes are really unique. definitely not your typical baby clothes. Maggie's Soap Nuts - {Giveaway}

I've recently been given the laundry soap that grows on tree, Maggie's Soap Nuts a try and though it seemed just a tad bit strange I have to say I was surprised. Maggie's soapnuts are 100% natural and biodegradable, completely safe and great for sensitive skin. I found it very interesting that these Soap Nuts are actually the dried fruit of the Chinese Soapberry tree and contain saponin that has been used to clean clothes for years. A great alternative for using detergent that carries lots of harsh chemicals. You can purchase in a liquid form or the actual nuts. I have had a chance to use both the liquid and nuts a couple of times and my clothes always appear very clean, with just a clean smell to your clothing. Unlike what I thought, these are very easy to use. The only thing I did notice is that stains didn't come out quite as well, however I have not used them for long and have little experience with them. These can also be used for laundering your cloth diapers and though I have yet to use them for mine I have heard good things about them. Read about Soapnuts and the Uses.

I've looked at special occasions dresses many times and they seem expensive and the quality isn't that great, I have definitely not found that with this - the quality is excellent.

I also have the boys' Eton suit in chocolate brown for my little guy. As much as I love dresses for my daughter I couldn't help but fall in love with this little suit. Shorts, bow tie, jacket - he looks so adorable and dapper. The fit is really nice, and perfect for special occasions for sure. It seems to me that I only find the same boys dress up clothing, and this is definitely not something that you're going to find everywhere.
