As a busy mom it can be so hard to stay organized. My older sis (Andrea) showed me how to stay on top of things by using a dry-erase board to jot down meal plans, to-do lists, and all the other things that are so easy to forget.... It really helps me to check my board each day and remember what in the world is going on! IdeaPaint and Lowes have teamed up to take this one step further by bringing us new Dry-erase Paint! Now you can transform virtually any smooth item into a dry-erase board. I am excited to try out the new dry-erase paint on my husbands file cabinet! This cabinet is going to go from being a huge eyesore to a huge helper by keeping my husband organized and letting him jot down notes throughout the day. Do you have a refrigerator in your home that maybe looks a bit funky and dated? Use dry erase paint for an instant update! When the fridge is wiped clean it will look crisp and white but will also add a bit of fun for the kids by allowing them to create real "fridge art"! I saw this incorporated on a major home-design site and it looked so neat! I'm dying to rejuvenate our early 90's fridge with a fresh coat of IdeaPaint! IdeaPaint has also been recognized for being eco-friendly which is a plus especially if using it in the kitchen or a child's room. If you are looking for a DIY project that can help you stay organized and keep your home fun and looking good you have to visit Lowes and try Idea Paint today!

Great post! I like the idea of painting the refrigerator but I think my wife and I would paint a wall in our son's room for him. It would be nice to have an area where he can draw and color and what better than a wall you can erase! I am also a teacher and would love to get rid of my whiteboard and use Idea Paint.

I'd love to create a movable custom wall piece for my daughter. We're a military family and move a lot, so this is something I could make for her so she has a little piece of home everywhere we move.

I would use it on a wall in my 5 yr. old granddaughter's bedroom in my home so when she visits she can draw to her heart's content. She recently got into trouble for drawing on her bedroom wall in her house.
