Full Circle - Stylish Eco-Friendly Kitchen Products

More and more of us are becoming more aware of products that are harmful for our environment and trying to use eco-friendly products instead. I for one do a lot better when eco-friendly products are easily accessible and I want something that still looks great in my home. Full Circle carries a variety of kitchen products that are not only eco-friendly but stylish and function able at the same time. I received two products I can't get enough of The Ring which is completely earth friendly, made with a bamboo handle and natural recycled bristle blend - it's easy to hold on to and gets those veggies clean. Also stylish enough to leave laying around! Also in my home is Stick 'em, the magnet kitchen towel. I love this towel because it never fails I find myself grabbing for a dish towel and there are none to be found. I keep this hanging on my fridge for easy access for both myself and children. It's super soft being made from bamboo & organic cotton and absorbent as well. There is nothing worse than a towel that isn't absorbent and I have plenty of them. The only thing I didn't like about this towel is that the magnet sticks to the back of my dryer when drying and wraps up. I typically hang to dry after washing to avoid this problem. Surprisingly January has been a very busy month and with how busy December was with blogging I have been feeling very exhausted and non-motivated. Thirsties new Duo Fab Fitted Diapers

I've been very fortunate to be able to try out all the products that Thirsties offers over an extended period of time and couldn't wait for the chance to try the new Duo Fab Fitted Diaper when it arrived. This diaper like all the Thirsties products has been great. Similar to the original fab fitted diapers but so much better. This diaper and has snaps to adjust the rise and comes in size one and size two so you can get the best fit whether you're using for a new born all the way to potty training stages. This diaper truly does grow with your child. Another feature is that this diaper has an internal microfiber soaker but there is a tunnel behind it so you can actually stuff it for extra absorbency - kind of like a pocket diaper but instead of a pocket a tunnel to stuff. This not only makes for added absorbency for those super soakers but better cleaning as well. Educational Toys Planet - Melissa & Doug Latches Board

It's no denying I'm a huge fan of the products of Melissa & Doug and I'm sure many of my faithful readers know it because I mention it often. I always recommend their products and I know once you start adding them to your home you will too. Educational Toys Planet carries a huge variety of Melissa & Doug products but many other products that look great as well. You can choose from your interest, the age of your child, what kind of toy you want and much more. There is a huge selection of Toys for Toddlers - perfect for me because I like educational things for my little ones that are going to incorporate fine motor skills and encourage thinking and learning while having a lot of fun. All of my children have been having a lot of fun with the Latches Board we received to review from Educational Toys Planet - though geared for toddlers 3 and up my five year old enjoys playing with the younger ones and my 1 year old has the greatest time as well. Actually the latches board is one of those toys that draw you to it - my husband was instantly drawn to trying it out with the kids as I was. The latches board has six different types of locks that the child must unlatch and open to reveal the number that's on the outside of the door in animals. The child is learning not only numbers, latches and animals but each of the doors is in a different color as well so there's lots of learning and fun in this board. Definitely a fun and educational toy to add to your home.

Soup Day Giveaway (Ends 2/3)

January is National Soup Month and I can't agree more - nothing like some delicious warm home made soup during these cold days & why not a great book to go along with it. Soup Day is an adorable, fun children's book that's simple yet great for children. The book is about a mom and daughter who make soup, but the book starts out by going to the store to purchase the products - the little girls learns how to choose vegetables and tells which ones, they make the soup together - the little girl tells how they cut the potatoes into cubes, the carrots into circles and so on and how she gets to help. I love how the book talks about what they do while they wait for the soup, playing & reading together - then how the little girl gets to choose the noodles from a variety and how she helps the entire time making the soup Then the family sitting together and eating. My daughter especially loves this book, the illustrations are great and it's very real and similar to our life. The book even has a yummy looking vegetable soup recipe that I can't wait to try. The Star Wars Costume from Costume Discounters

Do your children, or maybe you for that matter love costumes? My children are always dressing up, it doesn't have to be Halloween for us to be dressed up like we're going trick-or-treating. I had the chance to review from Costume Discounters and boy was I surprised at the overwhelming amount of kids costumes they had to choose from. Then I started looking at all the costumes and they went on and on. OCEAN Natural Saline Nasal Spray Giveaway (Ends 1/27)

I don't like to medicate my family unless we really have to and believe me that's on rare occasions. I'm not against medications, after all I was an RN before I became a stay at home mom. With that said I was excited to have the opportunity to review the Natural, Non-Drug Saline Nasal spray for my family from OCEAN. We received a couple of different products - Saline Nasal Spray, Ocean Complete Sinus Irrigation, and the Ocean for kids. I don't know tons about nasal sprays, just that when I was younger I always attempted to find relief from nasal sprays for that horrible stuffed up nose. Thank goodness my family has been very healthy this winter, no sniffles what so ever so we have yet to give these a full review, however these can be used for general moisturizing. I did give them a test and like most products you spray up your nose I was a little scared - I didn't want it to burn or feel awful... I sprayed it up and to my surprise It didn't burn or sting and I could tell I was definitely getting some extra moisture which can't be bad in these dry months. I'm glad to have them on hand when we really need them. The Ocean for kids is used for the winter months and in dry climates & cold temperatures, relieves allergy, cold & flu symptoms, congestion by thinning mucus, and helps reduce nosebleeds. The Sinus Irrigation has to nozzles one for moisturizing and one for sinus irrigation. There's nothing like a good sinus irrigation and this doesn't burn at all - and you really feel cleaned out. If you're looking for a non-medicated nasal spray this would be a great way to go and you can use the kids from infancy to 12 years and of course the products for adults.

Cuddl Duds ActiveLayer Giveaway (Ends 1/26)

I have been living in my ActiveLayer long sleeve V-Neck top from Cuddl Duds ever since I received it, and if you don't believe me you can ask my husband who wanted to know what happened to my closet full of clothing. I absolutely love how comfortable and lightweight this top is. It really is perfect for layering as the website says under everything and features the great wicking power of Dri-Release, spandex for stretch, and my favorite thumb holes on the extra long cuffs. Not only do these thumb holes help when layering but I love wearing it with the cuffs up further as well. I have the the bright pink, but it comes in five different colors and doesn't shrink or change shape at all once it's been washed. I wear with jeans, the ActiveLayer leggings, sweats and under vests, tops or alone and love all the looks. You will for sure be looking fabulous while still being totally comfortable. I also received the ActiveLayer leggings which look cute with the top or pairing with any product that looks great with leggings. They have the same material as the top and for these cold winter months they easily layer under anything. Cuddl Duds has a variety of products that all look fabulous!

The Juno Company DVD

My husband and I both love music - I grew up taking piano lessons for several years, my husband is learning guitar right now and most days music is being sang or played in our home. My children are showing a love of music as well and at an early age. Recently we had the opportunity to review the DVD The Day the Music Stopped from The Juno Company. All of my children, especially my 17 month and three year old love the DVD. Juno is a little puppet girl that goes on adventures with her kid brother Ry Ry and other puppet friends to Harmonia springs and while there Murphy's Shush machine silences Harmonia Springs - Juno and the friends have to bring music back to life and town while they learn about overcoming fears, learning about friendships, problem solving and all about music. The music is great, original and preformed by a live orchestra. A entertaining and educational DVD that I don't feel bad putting my children in front of.
