ThinkSport Giveaway (Ends 3/11)

I'm gonna put it out there right now... all stainless steel water bottles are absolutely not the same. Some are great and some really stink. I have a couple good ones and the rest are junk. I can honestly say that the Insulated Sports Bottle from ThinkSport is awesome. It has a lot of really great features - that it's double walled and vacuumed sealed so it keeps things cold and hot for a longer period of time. The removable mesh filter is great - keeps ice in and if you're brewing something keeps everything away from the spout. I can't wait to use this during pregnancy for the teas I drink - perfect! It also has a contoured shape and doesn't sweat (that's one of the worsts) or get to hot when warm liquid is in the bottle. My husband and I both really like this one a lot - a bit heavier than others but well worth it. If you're not familiar with ThinkSport, it's part of ThinkBaby that carries many great products for the little ones. We have a sippy cup my 18 month old really likes a lot and it's BPA free and has many other great features.

Win! One lucky Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win the 750ml ThinkSport water bottle and ThinkSport LiveStrong sunscreen. To enter tell me another product by ThinkSport or Thinkbaby you would like to try.

Muze Clothing $30 Gift Certificate Giveaway (Ends 3/10)

Are you a movie fan and love quotes. I can think of tons of people that quote everything and know so much about movies! Muze Clothing is a must stop site for you then. There is a list of movies and most likely a movie for everyone - like Top Gun, Star Wars, Airplane, Pretty Woman, and many more. My husband is much more of a movie buff than I am and received the "Oh Stewardest, I speak Jive" T-shirt from the movie Airplane. This t-shirt has a nice fit and a bit of a distressed look. Depending on the movie different shirts are available - distressed t-shirts, regular t-shirts, tanks, and even long sleeved shirts. Muze Clothing also carries kids t0shirts as well as maternity t-shirts for those momma's looking for something different than your typical maternity apparel. I love when I read that companies team up with celebrities for charity and Muze has done just that - being a family that's big into the NHL we liked to see Jeremy Roenick teaming up with Muze to honor our veterans with a limited edition t-shirt. Visit the site to see what other celebrities and Muze have done.

Shelley & Cal - Something Goin' On CD Giveaway (Ends 3/9)

I really enjoy music as I have mentioned in past posts and before I had children I listened to what I wanted when I wanted too - however now that I have children my view on music is quite different. I find that some of the mainstream music isn't appropriate and the messages can be disturbing at times. Recently I was introduced to Shelley & Cal a husband and wife balancing marriage and family and their love for music. Their most recent release Something Goin' On has four tracks that are a mixture of pop, rock, Indie, and christian gospel music blended together. I really like their rendition of Amazing Grace, my favorite on the track. If you're like me always looking for something new to listen to then check out Shelley & Cal's CD.

Win! One Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win their own copy of Something Goin' On. To enter visit the site and tell me which of their songs you like the most.

Petz Fantasy Moonlight Magic Nintendo DS Game

It happened so fast - my little guy has turned into a kid that loves video games, music, wants his hair like the other kids and all that... he's only five. I love to see him mature, but as a parent it's my responsibility to still find things that are fun, yet age appropriate and my favorite educational. With my son loving his Nintendo DS I like to find games that he enjoys, but are appropriate... like the Petz Fantasy Moonlight Magic game we were provided with by Ubisoft. I of course sat down to play this game with my son at first to see what it was all about and if it was okay for him. Sure enough he was very excited and the more we got into the game the more enthusiastic he and I became. First we were able to choose a pet and he was able to name it - Son: I can name it whatever I want? Me: Sure. Son: How cool is that? I'll name it my name because that will be awesome. We started playing and whichever pet you pick has it's own little personality so as you venture into the challenges of feeding, bathing and having fun with it, depending on the animal you get a different adventure. To play you keep the status bars full and then you get to enter into a magic world to open locked items for your pet and magic powers he/she may have. When we first started playing I was worried because there were little messages that I had to read to my son - thinking great this is going to be something we have to play together no matter what. However after reading it a few times through and he caught on to what he needed to do - he can easily play by himself and succeed easily. This game also encourages hand/eye coordination, though five my son is pretty good at this he also has to master (quickly) to color in his pets food - this is harder than I thought - it took me a few tries and in my sons words: Mom, I'm better than you at this. Then he has to clean his pet and hold the water sprayer on the little guy has he tries to move. He does great! Today he was super excited at all the "cool" outfits he unlocked in his magic world - he can have his pet wear Santa, princess, cowboy, rock star and many others. This is a fun game my son absolutely loves and I as well as my son would recommend it to friends! You can purchase at Amazon.com and Toys R Us.

While Ubisoft provided me with this game to review, the opinions I've expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint. Ubisoft, Clever Girls Collective and I promote Blog with Integrity.

The Baby GoGo Doll Giveaway (Ends 3/4)

I'm pretty particular about the baby dolls we purchase, nothing seems to be quite the same as the classic baby doll that I grew up with. You know the ones that didn't poop, pee, make noises, etc. - I'm sure you know what I mean, they're hard to come by. Not that they're bad, they're fun but a classic doll isn't as easy to find as you would think. You can imagine I was pretty excited when I came across Baby GoGo the doll that brings the classic old doll but also a new fresh look for your children to play with. Baby GoGo is dressed in bright, gender neutral clothing and is 13 inches, perfect for not only the little girls in your life but also boys as well. The perfect size, soft and the eyes open and close, something all little kids can't get enough of. Baby GoGo also comes with a cute little blanket that matches the outfit and and illustrated series of books are available. The first book Baby GoGo Goes Home comes with the doll , a cute little story about the baby leaving the hospital and meeting siblings for the first time. Baby GoGo also has additional products and accessories that you can purchase for additional fun. Of course my daughter, who is a true little girl who loves to nurture and care for her baby dolls loves Baby GoGo, but so do my sons who get right in on the action playing house and daddy with their little baby. I'm very happy with this doll and glad to see a doll that can allow children to be creative and use their imagination while playing! This great doll has won several awards & is available at the Baby GoGo website as well as Amazon.com.

Win! One lucky Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win a Baby GoGo. To enter visit the site and tell me why you want to win Baby GoGo.

L'Bri Pure n' Natural Aloe Vera Skin Care

So many woman out there are looking for natural products for their skin, and not only for their skin but for the entire family. My husband and I both have pretty normal skin I would say, but I couldn't wait to get my hands on the natural products from L'Bri for both of us, anything that contains pure aloe and natural ingredients can't be missed. We received several different products to use - my husband received the Deep Pore Skincare Trio that's designed especially for men. He commented on how you don't have to use very much - (which is true of all the products) to get that clean feeling. You use the products in combination with each other and he liked how you could feel that it kept the moisture in his face. This is particularly important for my husband who for some crazy reason dose not think men need moisturizer. Not that my love has terrible acne but he does get them far more often than I think a thirty year old man should and this has helped a lot at eliminating those breakouts. I also received a trio of cleansers that I liked, however my absolute favorite product was the rejuvenating facial peel. I've used different peels and masks before but nothing has really gotten me excited and after a few times of using get pushed to the back of the cabinet, I however wish I had more of this. I can honestly tell you it peeled the dead skin off and my skin really did look better. It was amazing - I even made my husband come in and see how well it was working.
I really liked this website with the L'Bri products, have you ever wondered if you had confused skin, what ingredients are really in products or even what skin type do you have? Find it all & all about the products and what they do and more. This sort of information is so helpful, instead of just buying tons of products and trying to see if it works. You can actually get what products your skin type needs because we all know we have different skin types.

You can follow Tara Shippley from L'Bri on Facebook & Twitter for updates and more.

Make Your Own Soda with SodaStream $100 Prize Package Giveaway (Ends 3/2)

I'm sure after reading that title your wondering.. really, my own soda machine.. does it even taste good? Well that's exactly what I asked myself when I first heard about the SodaStream - I can't believe it. Then I had the opportunity to review for them and well... it went something like this. The package arrived and it was nothing like I had expected - small and seemingly easy to use. Of course my children were screaming at the fact that we were soon to be making our own Soda. I opened the package and nothing really to assemble I easily (and I assure you so easy) inserted the Carbon Dioxide tank, filled one of the 1 Liter BPA reusable bottles (which is provided) with water and easily screwed it onto the machine. Pushed the button 3 times to carbonate the drink, unscrewed and added the flavor of syrup I wanted and wah-la instant soda. It was pretty much just like pouring a can of soda from a can into a cup, I was really surprised and how good it actually tasted. We have several flavors and have tried the Root Beer and Ginger Ale which taste amazing and there really is carbonation. SodaStream also has MyWater Flavor Essence if you are more of a flavored water person, which also tastes great. I love that with SodaStream you can add more or less fizz to your drink just by pressing the button another time and you save money by making it yourself, no dealing with storing your soda or empty containers for recycling. SodaStream is available at several different locations and there is even a Carbon Dioxide exchange program at select retailers. I wish I could have you all over to try this great product out. Check out the video on the SodaStream webpage to see more.

Win! One lucky Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win a Fountain Jet Soda Lover's Start-up Kit (Retail value $100). It includes your choice of black/silver, white or red/silver Fountain Jet, CO2 container to make over 100 liters of Soda, 2 reusable carbonating bottles, a samples pack of flavors and 2 full-sized flavors of your choice. To enter tell me what flavor you want to try the most.

Baby Clothing Network

BCN, the Baby Clothing Network is a site that helps moms like many of you save money on those many baby clothes you have laying around that are definitely worth something but your babes have out grown them. With BCN you create bundles of your clothing, you can easily learn how to do this by reading the Help section on the BCN site. Basically you make up a bundle of one size and gender, upload images and describe, once you add to the site BCN places the retail value of the bundle from their database of information, but what's nice is that no money is ever exchanged. BCN is all about making trading fair, if you have a bundle of clothing worth $80 you get $80 for it. Mom's can browse the site for bundles and when she purchases the owner of the clothing gets that $ value in website credits called BCN Tags. She uses BCN Tags to shop for bundle of clothes of her own. Lots of clothes are exchanged but no money ever changes hands (shipping costs are paid by the recipient). You can trade in your great kids clothing for something that you need. Looking for a great contest, Baby Clothing Network is giving away a $250 gift certificate to Pottery Barn Kids if you mention them on Twitter, Facebook or MySpace.

Diapers Etc. For The Love of Cloth Diapers Blog Party & $25 GC Giveaway (Ends 2/28)

I'm very excited to be participating in the first ever Eco Chic Parties Blog Party with sponsor Diapers Etc. For those of you who aren't familiar with Diapers Etc. or have been in the past the site is now new, improved and better than ever with the new owner Debbie. Several great cloth diaper brands and many other products to purchase whether you're looking for different types of cloth diapers, covers, accessories, BPA Free products, Organic clothing and more. Diapers Etc. is a great site to view all sorts of products and purchase them all in one place.

I have been cloth diapering for over 3 years now - I started cloth diapering because my daughter was allergic to disposable diapers and would break out every time one touched her skin. We switched to cloth and haven't turned back since. I can't deny that I am not a 24/7 cloth diapering momma but for the most part cloth diapers are used all the time. Currently I only have my 18 month old son in cloth diapers as the others are potty trained. He's a 28 pound little guy so it can be challenging to find what works - however whether you have a skinny child (like my daughter) or a chunker (like my son) there are cloth diapers available that work great. I'm a huge fan of pocket diapers and I prefer snaps over Aplix or Velcro (mostly because I find they last a lot longer). I use prefolds as stuffing my diapers, not that I don't like the inserts that come with most diapers, but I think prefolds tend to hold more, don't build up and I never have to deal with the stink. I do use inserts on occasion (always when reviewing) but I mostly stick to the prefolds because they work great for us. Some of the diapers I use during the day that are available on the Diapers Etc. website are the Fuzzi Bunz perfect size diaper, Fuzzi Bunz one size diaper, and Happy Heiny's Pocket Diaper. All great, especially the new Fuzzi Bunz one-sized diaper that I was able to review from Diapers Etc. I love that it comes with extra elastic for the legs and that you can adjust perfectly for your child's fit. The elastic is actually numbered so one leg isn't tighter than the other, and you can adjust from both the front and the back of the diaper. You can also easily tuck the extra elastic into the slots and they stay put even after laundering the diaper. This is by far one of my favorite features of this diaper. At night I use the Duo Fab Fitted and Fab Fitted from Thristies along with their wonderful duo wrap mostly and they too are available at Diapers Etc. These are just a few of the choices that my family uses and that Diapers Etc. has - I like these that I have mentioned a lot and use them frequently. I also only use cloth wipes - many different types and brands, but one that is available at Diapers Etc. that have really held up and work great are the Thirsties Fab Wipes. Beautiful colors, the perfect size and soft on babies bottom. If you are just getting started with cloth diapers, I would recommend a great wet bag - and definitely a zippered one. The zipper holds in the smell and is the only thing I have used since we started, I have never tried the Monkey Foot wet bags but I see they have a zipper and look great with different sized options. So many different options and it's always fun to try different types especially to see what works best for you. I have found that everyone has something different that their family loves. My husband always grabs the Aplix no matter what, but over all we are both so happy to be using cloth!

There is so much more to say about cloth diapering - what diapers I liked a lot for my newborn, what I use to clean, etc. However we will leave that for another party. For now you can get started with all sorts of fabulous diapers from Diapers Etc. and if you're an experienced cloth diapering momma then I'm sure you'll find something you'd love to try at Diapers Etc. If you're reading and not into cloth diapering Diapers Etc. has a lot of great products for your little one.

Diapers Etc. and Eco Chic Parties has 20 fabulous bloggers participating in this party & you can stop and visit everyone. MiniMaestro Cloth Diaper & Giveaway (Ends 2/24)

I have yet another fabulous diaper to showcase to you cloth diapering momma's (and daddies) out there for this week. MiniMaestro has a pocket diaper that comes in three different sizes and nine different colors and you are able to purchase with or without inserts. We've been using the size large diaper in royal blue for several weeks now and I have been very happy - the micro-fleece is very soft next to my little guys skin and the waterproof outer layer has yet to give us any grief. I also like the slim velcro hooks and loops - so far they are staying in place nicely, they do not scratch my little guys skin that I find is a problem in many velcro closure diapers and I can get the best fit for my son. I can also say that I'm not a huge fan of inserts I use prefolds almost 100% of the time, however I have been pleased with these because they are made one microfiber layer and two bamboo layers and can absorb a lot. I find that with the bamboo holding so much more we have far less leaks and bamboo has antibacterial properties among other great features. The MiniMaestro pocket diaper allows for you to stuff the diaper for your needs but is also trimming when using not as much stuffing. I can actually put this diaper (with the inserts) on my son in jeans - which is usually not possible. So far this diaper has been working wonderfully for us, we've had no leaks, it's quick and easy to get on and off and cleans well! These diapers are all made in Canada with North American material and that they are manufactured by a non-profit organization called Petitis-Maines that fight exclusion, poverty, and violence. Petitis-Mains mission is to help people, mostly immigrant woman. MiniMaestro carries other cloth diapering products as well.

Win! One lucky Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win a diaper, insert and doubler in their choice of color and size. To enter visit MiniMaestro and tell me which of the colors you would choose.

Chili's Wild or Mild Promotion & $20 GC Giveaway (Ends 2/23)

I don't know about you all but I love to go out to eat - Chili's is one of my top choices when we're shopping to stop for lunch or dinner whether with or without the kids. I also find something delicious to eat & the prices aren't outrageous. Last weekend my husband and I (along with our youngest) headed to Chili's to check out their newest promotion called Wild or Mild. My husband and I looked through the entire menu of our classic favorites, but also the many new items that have a wild flavor or a cooled down for those of you who can't handle the spice. Among some of these are the Kicked up Queso, Blazin' Big Mouth Bites, Jalapeno Chicken Quesadillas, and what I tried the Sweet Maple BBQ Chicken Crisper's - yummy! These definitely had some kick and I was glad I got the sauce on the side & that was no problem they wanted to make my meal enjoyable. I also got fries which are some of my favorites and corn on the cob. My husband checked out the lunch special where he was able to get the new Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas. These were excellent and what's great about the lunch menu is that you get the perfect portions and still feel like you got full. As you can see from our pictures our food was great and we enjoyed! Definitely stop by your Chili's to try out these new delicious menu items. Right now Chili's Shout It Out To Eat Out Wild or Mild promotion is going on - Shout Out To Eat Out – Wild or Mild”: To enter, participants upload a head shot of themselves and create a wild or mild avatar on shoutouttoeatout.com. Prizes: One (1) winner will be randomly drawn every day and will receive one (1) $20 Chili’s gift card. The most voted 'Wild' avatar will win a 'Wild' trip to Las Vegas and the most voted 'Mild' avatar will win a 'Mild' trip to Disney World! Ends 4/30/2011."

Win! One lucky Momma In Flip Flops2 reader will win a $20 gift certificate to Chili's. To enter visit the site and tell me what you would order.
