Baby Blossom Designs Cloth Diaper Giveaway (Ends 4/14)

Having the opportunity to review cloth diapers that are homemade from cloth diaper lovers is incredible, I know the amount of time and work they put into making their diapers amazing so it really is a privilege to be able to try them. I've put my hand at making diapers a couple of years ago and I know how much work goes into it. With that said I have gotten the opportunity to connect with an old friend, the owner of Baby Blossom Designs and check out her custom fitted diapers on my son. I really like that there are so many options when getting your diaper.. your fabric color/print, soaker material, soaker style, closure and even the size.. making it really custom for your liking. Of course I chose a Cotton Woven diaper in camo print, with a bamboo snap in insert and snap closures.. this diaper is so stinking cute I wish I didn't have to use a cover on it. I'm a true fitted diaper fan with it comes to bedtime so I've been trying this diaper out for night times and it's worked well. I did get a large which was just a tad on the big side, but two months ago would have fit him ideal.. he's just slimming down after being so big for a good year. Of course I love the snap in soaker... so easy to use and if I don't want to use a cover and just let him run for awhile getting air I can easily just take out the soaker and snap in a new. Bamboo is my favorite so I can't say enough about it and the antibacterial properties and the how well it absorbs. Overall good fitted diaper.

Spring Fashion Event: Tea Collection

I can't wait for Monday to start the Spring Fashion Event.. so here's a sneak peak from Tea!


One of my favorite children's clothing companies has got to be Tea and all the fabulous designer clothing for children.. and even woman. If you are looking for unique, trendy, yet a classic twist and absolutely adorable clothing for your children that have great quality then the Tea Collection is where you need to be. I have several dresses as well as shirts and shorts from Tea for both my boys and daughter and I cannot say one negative thing about the collection of children's clothing. The fit is great and I'm always getting asked where I got that outfit. When I had the opportunity to work with Tea again I was excited to check out the Mix & Match sets for little girls.. my daughter who is a dress queen loved picking out the exact color and dress that would 'twirl' the best. We got the Jardin 6 piece set and I love that the leggings can actually be mixed and matched, used with other outfits and of course the dresses with or without so you get so much from one purchase. My daughter loves these dresses and wears them constantly.. you'd think we owned nothing else. I love that they can be casual or dressed up for church.
Tea Collection also carries not only adorable dresses but so much more. I love the boys selection as a lot of times clothing is limited for boys or all looks the same. Definitely not with Tea & I would love to get my hands on some of the fabulous apparel for woman.

My sister and I love getting together, searching for a hidden treasure and spending some quality sister time as well. Spring Shoes Carnival: Merrell Pure Glove Giveaway (Ends 4/12)

Ever since I was introduced to Merrell and introduced them to all my lovely readers last fall I've been a huge fan. I love their selection of products for active people that still have style. The new styles for woman are fantastic, I went shopping last week and loved browsing everything they had up close - even better than online which still looks great. I received the Pure Glove shoe from the Barefoot collection by Merrell and you have no idea how fantastic this shoe is. Coming from a girl that loves shoes but goes barefoot so much I have feet like leather (okay now that bad) these are the perfect combination for me. These are very comfortable and great for wearing barefoot, they're very light weight making it easy to move and get around without bulky heavy shoes weighing you down. I love that these shoes help connect your feet to the terrain, encourage a natural gait to improve posture, strengthens feet and leg muscles, they also feature the aegis microbe shield which helps control odor, staining and deterioration that's caused by bacteria, fungus and other microorganisms. Excellent when you want to wear them constantly and not take them off. I have been wearing these to workout and even did a jog in them and they were fantastic, I can only image what the Pace Glove would feel like. I also love that the Pure Glove is a mary jane style, especially cute for a girl who's not big into sneakers... yet anyway. These are flexible and supportive.. I feel like I'm getting all the qualities I look for in my children's shoes because I know how important healthy foot growth is, but for myself with these great shoes. Coming in four different colors these are a great addition to any momma's closet! If you are new to Merrell the collection of products doesn't stop at woman's shoes... find men's and children's shoes as well as apparel and accessories. I have boots and sandals as well and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Fabulous products.

Spring Shoe Carnival: Aerosoles

Spring Shoe Carnival: Livie & Luca Giveaway (Ends 4/8)

I am a huge fan of Livie & Luca and the fabulous shoes they have available for both boys and girls. The first pair we received my daughter wouldn't ever take off and she is absolutely in love with her new pair of Eve Vintage Brown Sandals. The little apple and green stem really give this shoe an adorable look while the classic brown leather is always great. This shoes (as well as the others we have tried) are breathable and very flexible, the flexibility of the outer rubber sole is amazing. I also like that the inner sole can be removed for easier washing and that is has little toe prints so can get the best fit. Also great is that if you have a child with a bit wider feet these shoes should work great and you get a cute selection. All Livie & Luca shoes are handmade and weigh 1/2 pound, perfect for the little feet. Shoe sizes range from 4-13 and the new spring line is vibrant and adorable. I also hear that Livie & Luca just might be having a woman's shoe out this fall.

Evolution Ion One Sized Cloth Diaper Giveaway (Ends 4/8)

As many of you know I love to get my hands on a new and different kind of cloth diaper - one of the most recent diapers I've been introduced is from Evolution Diapers and the Ion One Sized Cloth Diaper. My son is actually wearing it right now and the fit is excellent. I've mentioned it several times before that I have a hard time with certain diapers because my son has bigger thighs so in order for the diaper to fit correctly he has red elastic parts around his thighs. The Evolution Ion Diaper features adjustable elastic in not only the thighs but also the waist making for a perfect fit from 5lb-40lb. Another feature that the Evolution Diaper has that you may be new to is that instead of the lining next to babies skin being fleece they use an athletic wicking fabric called Coolmax Active. I so far have really liked this fabric because it's very breathable, it absorbs and spreads moisture away from baby and into your insert, it's also quick drying so you can use quicker than other diapers that need to be left to dry. The Ion diapers Coolmax fabric is made from recycled materials and is patented pending. This diaper also features the side snaps which are great - I really like side snaps as baby gets older and can even take off snap diapers.. these none of my kids have figured out yet while in diapers and it's a pocket diaper. The adjustable elastic in the diapers are also patented, making for one heck of a one of a kind diaper that works. This diaper is available in a few different adorable prints and I love that right now 10% of each purchase is donated to the Red Cross in Japan.

Aloha Friday: Daughters Ears Pierced?

Happy Friday friends! So today as I was turning on my OnDemand one of the Today shows were on and they had some mom's talking about ears piercing for little girls.. I didn't watch it all and missed the beginning but I saw the statistics (wish I could remember them) about when people get their daughters ears pierced and what is the best time. So my question for you this week is: What age did you get your daughters ears pierced/or when do you think is the best age to do so & why? My husband and I only have one daughter, she's 3 1/2 and she does not have hers pierced and won't until she is much older. For a few reasons - I think she needs to me mature enough to take care of them and it's something special she should be able to do when she remembers. I think I got mine pierced when I was first or second grade (mom correct me if I'm wrong) and all my sisters and I had troubles (and I still do) with having to have special metal, etc.. our ears would get so nasty. I want my daughter to have healthy ears and I can't wait to get them done when she's ready.

Both my older children definitely have an opinion on what they wear and look like. I'm definitely a momma who thinks practical - don't get me wrong I love shoes and yes a little pain for that fabulous look is well worth it (in small doses).. however most days I need a pair of shoes or sandals that are going to get me from early morning to late at night.
