Fall Fashion Event: Horny Toad, Dress Giveaway (Ends 9/14)

I may have mentioned this in the past but the last year or so I have been so in love with dresses - they're feminine, you can dress them up or down and I always feel put together and nice when I slip into one. Recently I was introduced to a company called Horny Toad and all the products the available for both men and woman. I particularly was drawn to the woman's collection of items - sweaters, tops, jackets, pants, accessories and of course the dresses! They offer much more than what I just listed that I loved but I couldn't take my eyes off the Panoply Dress.. it drew me in for so many reasons.. but my favorite features was that you could have three dresses in one and that it could be changed up so easily. The warmer weather is still in full swing here, but it has been getting chilly at night so I know long sleeves will be here before I know it so I've been wearing the under part of the dress a lot. It's cute slouch mock collar it's great for the warmer weather and I like the color and stripes. Add the top with slouch color you have a layered dress that looks wonderful, it's incredibly comfortable as well so while you're looking great you're feeling it as well. I can't wait to add other items from Horny Toad to my closet, comfortable and chic!

I consider myself a pretty loyal girl. If I have a friend, food, or product that I like...I stick with it! It's funny to say that I am like that with my mascara as well. Since I have been wearing make-up, which has been at least 10 years now I have stuck with one tried and true brand. In fact nearly all of my sisters (who are old enough to wear makeup) use it as well. I've tried others, that worked okay, but nothing compared to this particular mascara that I really loved. In the past, volume mascaras have caused me trouble by being too wet and sticky and would leave little black marks on my eyelids, this mascara seemed to dry quickly and even though it isn't waterproof it stayed on well and didn't smudge throughout the day.

The brush on this wand is also specially designed to create voluminous lashes, except in this case it is created to make the lashes of your outer eye appear longer creating that beautiful dramatic effect that is all the rage! Fall Fashion Event: Keen Footwear For Men & Woman

I have always heard great things about the footwear from KEEN and have always wanted to try the products, so as you can image I was excited to feature them for the first time in our Fall Fashion Event, and showcase both a pair of woman's boots and men's shoes.

In the midwest we have winters that require me to wear boots quite often, my problem is I typically don't like winter boots because I don't find them all that fashionable. I have finally found style that includes protection for my feet through the winter months in the Silverton boot from Keen. With the waterproof leather and sleek chic look these are fabulous and I couldn't believe the warmth. I put them on to show you just how cute they are on and my feet were so warm I had to take them off immediately. I cannot wait to wear these daily as I am taking my son to and from school come the winter & even when I need a great pair of boots to wear out on the town that will make it through the winter months! I love them.

My husband received the Denver Canvas shoe from Keen in the Tobacco color. At first I don't know what he thought of these, but I kid you not has been wearing them every single day since he got them a month or so ago. He said the comfort is excellent and they look great when casual dressed up for work or just hanging out with jeans. These are also waterproof and a two toned leather - perfect for any guy.

Fall Fashion Event: Merrell Shoes You'll Love

I have been a fan of Merrell ever since I first slipped my foot into a pair of their sandals. The comfort is fantastic & they look great for outdoorsy products. After loving their boots and sandals I didn't think I could become much more of a fan, until I got my hands on the barefoot collection - in which I own both the Pure Glove and Pace. I received a couple of cute pendant necklaces I have been wearing and some fabulous earrings and bracelets all a bit different but look great.

What's not to like about a pair of sassy chic boots that are water resistant and look great? That's what I was thinking.. let me at them. I received just that from Nomad Footwear when I received the Black Paisley, Yippy boot for review. I love to give any dress or pair of jeans a sassy country girl look and these boots do just that. They're water resistant with a non-slip sole so getting them a bit wet won't bother them any and you'll still look great no matter what the weather condition. I like that these don't scream rain boots either, but look like you have a great pair of boots on. They definitely run on the small side so I would recommend, as well as the site says ordering at least a 1/2 size up.

Ragu: Mom's the Word on Dinner. How Do you Spice up Your Pasta?

That's right, pasta seems to be a go-to-meal for so many of you momma's out there - so Ragu: Mom's the Word on Dinner wants to know how you spice up your pasta. Some great tips already on the Facebook page & the video really got me thinking. Spaghetti Taco's.. why not!
