Fantastic Home Theater, Blu-Ray Players at Staples.com

We have a large family room in our basement that's perfect for entertaining friends and family as well as enjoying good times with family movie nights & fun dance parties with my littles. When it comes to large spaces the adequate home theater system is a must and thanks to Staples we now have a fantastic one that fully fills all spaces in our entertaining area - the Panasonic, Full HD 3D Blu-Ray Disc Home Theater System. How many of you are even aware at the wide selection of electronics Staples offers? To be honest, when I think of Staples I think of a great place to pick up ink cartridges, paper supplies, printing & a few different computer and tablet choices. I was wrong.. Staples carries a range of different home theater systems, tablets, lap tops, computers, office furniture & much more. I didn't realize just how much they carried until I checked them out online, as our store is a small compared to what they really offer.

The Panasonic Home Theater System has fully met our expectations in quality sound, picture, ability and style. My husband was easily able to assemble and connect to our dish and television with the instructions, as we all anxiously awaited the chance to check it out. It comes with five different speakers, with long enough cords to surround your seating area for exceptional surround sound. We are planning on painting our basement so we have yet to mount them all around, but placed them around the furniture for testing purposes, and it had and has phenomenal sound. If you love being in the theater this is perfect for you, and perfect for me because I can actually adjust the sound to my tolerance. I was surprised that even my children could tell a difference and it's not like we didn't have a home theater system before - it just wasn't close to this great, or had the power like the Panasonic SC-BTT190 5.1 Channel Full HD 3D  Blu-Ray Disc Home Theater System.

Besides the quality sound, the picture is as crystal clear as one can get with the television we have. We have tried several different Blu-Ray movies, as well as regular DVD's and all look really great. As you can see - I tried to capture the quality picture as we watched The Lorax during one of our family movie nights.

What I think is really pretty neat about this particular home theater system, is that it has a menu screen called the Viera Connect that you can go to, which comes up on your television and allows you to choose what you're going to be doing with your system for the best ability - watching a movie, listening to the stereo (which is built in), listening to your iPod or iPhone (because it has a USB Connection for them both), and all is controlled with the smart remote control. I love the Viera Connect feature because it also allows you to connect to your home network and interent to use YouTube, Amazon Video, Skype, Hulu, Twitter, Netflix as well as steam videos, look at pictures, watch movies & listen to music from your home computer by plugging in a network cable or using a wireless LAN adapter which are sold separately.

If you're looking for a sleek modern look, this also has that. It looks great!

We are thrilled with the Panasonic Home Theater System & you can purchase at Staples online. Though Staples is a household familiar name, I encourage you to take the time to look at the selection of products they carry before making home electronic purchases, you will be surprised at the products as well as prices they have.

Full disclosure, Staples provided me with this Panasonic Blu-Ray player. The words opinions express in this review are strictly my own. To see the full line of Blu-Ray players visit Staples.com.

  2. Thank you for sharing. That looks really great. Did your husband set it up all by himself? I actually just purchased a blue ray player from staples and called home theater Lexington to set up it up for me. I did not even want to attempt. Hope you and your family are enjoying the entertainment system!
