I'm a big fan of Moxie Wife and she started a fun Link Up where you post about 5 of your Favorite Things for the week. Well this is right up my ally because I always have something I'm swooning over each week. I thought I'd jump in .. finally.. because I've been trying to ever since she started and I haven't been able to fit it into the schedule. So here we go!
5. I'm aching for spring to really start and get my hands in the soil. It seems so far off when I woke up yesterday and it felt like -5. We live in Illinois.. it shouldn't be that cold. I'm dreaming of this look on both sides of my garage door. Tulips in a Pot.
4. Red Jeans.. they're just about as wonderful as mustard jeans.. who knew so many things went with them. I'm wearing the distressed skinny jean from Lauren Conrad available at Kohls. On sale for $27 right now. They fit great!
3. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara. I wasn't using this for sometime and just started again and why do I even switch!? I don't have the longest lashes but these help them grow longer, the wand never clumps my lashes together and well.. I love, love, love!
2. I don't know why, but I really love two turtle doves and I want a pair to put on my shelf. I found these cute blue wedding topper ones. I want something similar but white. Aren't they sweet!?
1. I have been eying these Saint Dolls for a couple of years .. ever since Ellen told me about them. Aren't they absolutely adorable? Someday I'd like to get some to have.
I love the tulips. So cheerful!
ReplyDeleteI don't much envy your -5 wind chill, but I'm not particularly thrilled with being covered by pine tree pollen and getting mosquito bites already! hehe Spring is so funny.
I've always really liked those little saint dolls too. My children would love them...someday someday...
Someday I will be planting the tulips in pots like they have. So easy and so gorgeous. I don't want your mosquito's. ;)
DeleteOh my gosh, I love those jeans!! And, I'm dying over those precious saints. I definitely need some of those for my boys. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteGo for the jeans, they feel as great as they look. ;)
DeleteThanks for the mascara tip! My lashes need all the help they can get.
ReplyDeleteThe link you have to the saint dolls goes to the bird cake toppers. I clicked the link b/c a friend of mine makes dolls like that (I think ) and I was curious if they were hers . . . .
Ok, I looked it up and it is my friend's store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SaintAnneStudio.
DeleteBeautiful, aren't they??
Laura, your friend is so talented. I fixed the link, I guess that's what I get for trying to post and do so many things at once last night. Oops! :)
DeleteYou will love the mascara.. it takes awhile but I noticed the difference!
I am obsessed with St.Anne's pixies they come in the girls Easter baskets every year it has become a tradition at our house and worth every penny to see my girls proudly say these are my saints to people (they currently each have first and middle name) this year they are getting a favorite saint and I can't wait to see the reaction!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you introduced me to them. :)
Deletelove that Lauren conrad's stuff is at Kohl's, so cute and affordable!
ReplyDeleteThe new spring line is fabulous.. I wish I could wear the sheer tops but with nursing that doesn't go over to well. :)
DeleteOh my goodness, those saint dolls are so adorable!! My kids would love them :) And I'm completely with you on the red jeans...I just grabbed a pair on sale from Old Navy last week and L.O.V.E. them!!
ReplyDeleteOh, let me know if you ever post your red jeans. I love them and so glad others do as well. They go with everything.
DeleteThe Saint dolls are so adorable.. my daughter would like them but my boys were like.. whatever! LOL!! I still need to get them just to have in my house because I Like them. :) Thanks for stopping by.
Those tulips are gorgeous! I want those on either side of my red front door:)
ReplyDeleteTerri, me too. I still think I might be able to pull them off for this spring if I get my act together. We're in Illinois and supposed to get dumped on about 10-14inches again so it's still winter here. Ha!
