Alright, so I'm gonna get real with you all. I'm a mother of three young children, I have an amazing husband who doesn't do a whole lot of cooking, 7.5 months pregnant and I'm tired. In my ideal world I'd be betty homemaker with made from scratch meals on the table 7 nights a week and my family beaming, however that's not me. I don't love to cook (I hate to clean the mess up), but I don't hate it either and I'm just doing the best I can when I can. To keep my family happy, healthy and functioning I rely in companies like Pillsbury to help me out with products that are healthy, easy and delicious for my family.Over the weekend we were finally able to try out the Artisan Pizza Crust made with 16g of Whole Grain. I love whole grain so I knew I was going to like the taste, however my family isn't all that thrilled about whole grain. I decided to give it a try making some of their favorite, cheese sticks. The pizza crust was so easy, just take out of tube, place on cooking sheet and stretch to your desired thickness, bake for 6 minutes, take out and put on your toppings and cook for another 12minutes and it's done. Are you kidding me, this was super easy. The meal was done, now for the real test.. would they eat it. I didn't say anything about the whole grain and my husband kept saying.. "that smells so good." We sat down to eat and they all went crazy, they ate and ate like it was the home made crust that I've been making for years. I quickly announced as they were ending their feast that they were "eating whole grain pizza crust.. you know the whole grain you say is gross?" Even my husband was a bit shocked and we had to have a talk about just because you think you don't like something, doesn't mean you don't. Everyone admitted they wanted home made pizza with the new Artisan Pizza Crust later in the week, in which I was happy to say yes. Another quick, yet nutritious meal for my family thanks to Pillsbury.
Whether you're one of those amazing ladies that get those made from scratch meals on the table all the time, or more like me try out the new Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain. You'll love it and thank me later. Take advantage of this Pillsbury coupon for Pizza Crust, every little bit counts.

I love cooking! I love baking! I love trying out new recipes. What I don't love about doing all of the above is the clean up LOL
ReplyDeleteI am not that great of a cook but I do try. I am a better baker than anything. My husband and I are known in our families for bringing the good baked goodies to family functions.

I like baking more than cooking though I do try to cook from scratch daily so we could eat healthier.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty good at making casseroles and crock-pot dishes, and I do like to bake. I try to cook as much as I can for my family, but it is not something I like to do every day...mostly because I also hate cleaning up the mess!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm love cooking. I just got a le creuset dutch oven and I am a firm believer that fancy cooking utensils bring out the creativity and interest to cook. I'm a veggie but my husband is not and I cook both.
ReplyDeletei'm pretty terrible, i need some help, carawling(at)Hotmail(Dot)com
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try their new whole grain pizza crust!
ReplyDeleteI love to cook. The bigger and fancier the kitchen, the more fun it is!
ReplyDeleteI like to cook but don't try new recipes often enough
ReplyDeleteI love to cook and am somewhere between made from scratch and semi-homemade!

I like to cook, but just don't make the time for it - I really enjoy baking though.
ReplyDeleteI like to cook but hate to clean up the mess so I rarely cook a whole from scratch meal! LOL
ReplyDeleteSince I've been retired I cook from scratch a lot more, but there are times when we still need a quick meal like this...especially now that we have 10yo grandson living with us!

I love to cook and bake, but find myself making quick dinners from trader joe's. I really would like to eat less frozen meals.
ReplyDeletei cook convenience foods
ReplyDeleteI like to experiment. Patricia
ReplyDeleteI like to cook but dont have alot of time for it
ReplyDeleteI'm the kind that let's my hubby do the cooking :)
ReplyDeleteHaving only been married a year, I certainly haven't mastered things in the kitchen. For the first 6 months of our marriage, I really enjoyed learning and trying things. We began finding favorite recipes, etc... I've been sick since the end of February, so my husband has been cooking since then. He is much more adventurous - he like to try new things and experiment. I, on the other hand, love to follow a recipe exactly :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the real cook at our house and I'm the baker. We make a great team! :-)
ReplyDeletequick and easy meals, I like to keep it simple, though I wish I could do more gourmet meals for entertaining...
ReplyDeleteI love to experiment and try new recipes! My Husband is the guiney pig and really doesn't mind!

I am a from scratch cooker.... 90% of the time. The other 10% is anything we happen to have around, or can get quickly!
ReplyDeleteI love to bake too -- especially breads!
I love to cook, but I don't enjoy baking. I like to cook single ingredient well basically from scratch. My husband is Italian so I've had to learn some pasta dishes. Cooking for me is a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI like to cook from scratch when I can. But, we do a lot of convenience and just quick to make foods.
ReplyDeleteI love to cook, but I hate the mess! Also it's been harder because I have a little one that wants to be held constantly when she is awake!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy trying out new things but its more difficult holding a 6 week old.

I don't care much for cooking anymore (25 years of cooking burned me out), but I am pretty good at it. I also cook and bake most things from scratch.

I'd like to win, because we have made the switch to whole grain pretty easily around here, but that doesn't mean I have time every night to whip up a pizza dough! ( actually... lots of weekends I make a batch that involves 6 packages of yeast...so you can imagine the amount of dough we end up with for the week...but that is on a GOOD weekend where I have time on my hands...who has that?! )
ReplyDeleteI love to cook! I like to make things from scratch, but I'm not above using pre-made products in my meal - like already mashed potatoes, an already roasted chicken from the grocery store, etc.
ReplyDeleteI would like to win because friday nights was homemade pizza night at our house when I was growing up and like to have the same tradition..!! Thanks for this giveaway..!!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you..!! Don't hate it but I don't like having to clean up the mess..!! =D great post..!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win because I like pizza and this would be great for our family movie & pizza night!

I'm a Baker. I love to bake but cooking, not so much :)
ReplyDeletecallawishes(at)hotmail(dot)com
I'm a simple kind of cook and make mostly meat 'n potatoes type meals.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to cook more complex meals, but am definitely a quick, simple kind of cook.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big cooking fan, but I LOVE to bake! When I do cook, it is something that I can put together quick and leave the stove for a while if I need to.
ReplyDeletei cook homemade WHEN i can....however that certainly isn't every day. Like you, I WANT to do that 7 days a week...but that just doesn't happen!
ReplyDeleteI don't like to cook so anything that is quick and easy is my kind of meal to make!
ReplyDeleteI have never made a pizza myself and I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a decent cook and a good baker, but with my picky family I tend to make the same (boring...) things over and over.
ReplyDeleteI tend to like to cook from scratch and I do not like flops! I collect old cookbooks because I love the old cake recipes in them and they actually do not take much longer to prepare than a boxed cake mix and they are so much better. I also love to make old family Greek recipes, but they are very labor intensive.
ReplyDeleteI love to cook! My kids barely know that they are eating veggies.
