Playing children's game is a great family bonding time for our family, especially in the winter months we engage in a lot of different game activities, specifically board games. With our children being younger though, it's not always easy to find games that really engage them and that we want to play a whole lot, so we're always asking recommendations from family, friends and good family game reviews from bloggers. Peaceable Kingdom, a company I continue to love has an adorable cooperative game for 3-6 year old children called Snug as a Bug in a Rug. A Game that teaches my children different skills are always on the top of my list, and when they enjoy them it's even better. Snug as a Bug in a Rug is a pre-schooler skill building game that practices counting, colors, shapes and finding big and little eyes. I also really like this game because it has three different game levels, depending on the age of the children, so you can progressively make the game a bit more challenging at your child's pace. It's also a game that's finished within 15 minutes, so easily keeping the attention of smaller children. The game is all about getting the different little bugs under the blanket before the stink bugs get on. You spin the spinner and have to find specific colors, numbers, or shapes (depending on the level and what the die is rolled too). Whatever the spinner lands on is the bug you tuck snug under the rug. If there are no bugs on the rug from what you're supposed to find, a stink bug goes on the rug. Once one of the stink bugs is on the rug then you immediately use the spinner to only take bugs with either big or little eyes off the board and make snug under the board. You play until either the bugs are all snug under the rug or the stink bugs (3) are on the rug. It's been a lot of fun here, with giggles and fun while the stinky bugs stink up the rug. A cute and fun game to add to your games for sure. Peaceable Kingdom was also thinking by making the bugs and board on strong board and even sending extra stickers for the die, a company that knows what it's like to have children playing with their products!

ReplyDeleteI'm new to building sites and I was wanting to
ReplyDeleteknow if having your website title related to your articles
and other content really that crucial? I notice your title,
"Blogger: Momma In Flip Flops2! " does seem to be spot on with what your website is
about but, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and
based more around site branding. Would you think this is a good idea or bad idea?
Any kind of help would be greatly valued.
