New Disney Junior Series "Doc McStuffins" Premiers March 23rd

My husband and I limit the amount of television my children watch (or should I say "try") and definitely limit the channels and shows they can watch at this point. Always challenging as your children get older to find appropriate entertainment for them. However we like the shows Disney Junior comes up with our children, and it's one of our regular channels that are on in our home. A new series premiering Friday, March 23rd is Doc McStuffins, about a little six year old girl that can talk to her toys and runs a clinic in her backyard playhouse. My children and I were able to view a couple of the episodes and it was a hit from the get-go. My six year old to my two year old enjoyed and what I liked as a lot of good health messages about taking care of yourself to helping others. Nothing like a cute show that your kids like, that also give good messages. Make sure you tune in.

Also on Friday, March 23rd is the launch of the Disney Junior 24-hour basic cable/satellite channel. I really hope we eventually get this channel in our area, because as you just read we really enjoy Disney Junior. Now, however if you get the channel you will have access to watch 24 hours a day, because we all know sometimes you just really need to click the television on at all hours of the day and night. The new show "Doc McStuffins" will be playing as well as some of the other hit series like "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" - a huge favorite here along with "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", and returning favorites we haven't seen in awhile "Rollie Polie Olie" and "Higglytown Heroes". I also was thrilled to read that the new channel will be home to "Magical World of Disney Junior," a weekend movie block featuring a vast array of Disney movies like "Bambi", "Dumbo", "Beauty and the Beast" and many, many more.
