I know I've mentioned it before in the past, but really when it comes to maternity fashion that's trendy and actually fits a normal sized growing pregnant momma, it can be a bit of a challenge. I like stepping outside of the box in fashion, but when I'm pregnant my wardrobe is limited and the trendy things I do find only look good on stick skinny pregnant ladies. I however am not super skinny and gain early and throughout my pregnancy. I have been a fan of Boob Design maternity and nursing fashion for several years and have been known to even wear some of their pieces when not pregnant or nursing. I absolutely love their trendy designs and that they actually fit and flatter and growing belly (and body!) but fabulous for you skinnier gals as well.
I have been in love with colored pants when the trend started, but when they hit the stores hard I was already not my normal size and finding them in maternity style was next to impossible. Boob Design has got us fashion mommy's covered though. I received the most FABULOUS maternity stretch jeans in red for review and they honestly have become one of my favorite maternity jeans. They have a tall panel, but it's not overly tight (I have a hard time wearing panels), but the top doesn't just go from jean to panel, but actually has a waist that can be adjusted depending on your size and then the panel. It's genius! They look great rolled/cuffed and left longer. The color trend is here ladies, embrace it, step outside the box and have fun wearing it. If you aren't loving the red (which is a cross between red and coral in my opinion), these stretch jeans are available in white and black as well. I also have a dear friend who loves the Treggings, so you may want to check them out as well.
I also received Nursing Camisole Knot Front, which at first from the site I really didn't know how I would like this top, but once receiving and wearing the top, it's great. My picture above shows it tied in the back, but made to tie in the front. What I truly love about this top is that I can wear it now during my pregnancy, but it's so versatile so I can wear it once the baby is born for nursing. This is actually a size large, so Boob for me runs on the small side, so remember to order a size up. This lovely top comes in a four glamorous colors and would love great with a pair of trendy colored jeans.
While on the hunt for trendy maternity fashion, check out Boob Design and remember to connect with them on facebook & twitter.
I received complimentary product to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me your opinion on how these red jeans run size wise?? I am looking to purchase a pair and ran across your review. I am about 5'8" 28 weeks preg, 140lbs. (pre-preg size 4, 27/28 in jeans). I called website selling and lady told me they ran really small and got me all confused, ha!
