Beautifully Handcrafted, Washable Götz Dolls from HABA & Giveaway (ends 5/10)

This past December I was on a search for the perfect doll for my daughter & now I can say we have finally found the perfect doll for her. The Götz Dolls, available from one of our absolute favorite trusted companies HABA. These fantastic dolls were originally handcrafted, starting in 1950 by Marianne Götz and her husband, and after all these decades the dolls are still being made. Lucky for us in the U.S., Götz and HABA are coming together to bring the dolls back to America.

My daughter received the 18inch, blonde haired Götz Doll named Jessica. If you're wondering why this doll stands out from other 18inch dolls, let me tell you. Götz doll's have two features that stand out from the rest that you're going to love. One being the hair, and if you have a daughter like mine you know it's all about the hair. Götz dolls hair can actually be washed, styled, and brushed just like one's own hair. Even take a curling iron or blow dryer (on low setting of course) and it will still look great. My daughter's dream come true! The hair is actually rooted in the doll's scalp so it doesn't comb out. Götz Dolls are also washable, just put them in a pillow case, use the delicate cold cycle and lay flat to dry. How many dolls do you have that can actually be washed in the washer? The 18inch dolls are a bit big for this technique though, but there are 13 inch and even 16.5 inch dolls to choose from that can be.

I know so many parents whose daughter want an 18inch doll to dress, style their hair and go on adventures with. The 18inch Götz Doll is fantastic, as mentioned. The body is soft vinyl and can be moved into all sorts of positions & even stand on their own. The face is beautiful and the eyes blink. I can't be the only one who hates a creepy doll, no worries with these. Comes with clothing that's detailed and beautifully made. Overall this doll, (and I imagine all the Götz dolls) is fantastic. This doll is quality made and a doll that still looks great even while actually being played with.
