Just because you're a breastfeeding mother doesn't mean you have to hide under over-sized tops and never feel feminine in a lovely dress. With my three older children I have been an extended, exclusive breastfeeding mom. It worked well for us and I imagine that will be the same with my four month old. With that said, it can be darn hard to wear tighter tops and any dresses, especially in those earlier months because they need to nurse quite frequently. That's why great nursing tops & dresses are great to add to your wardrobe. Let me introduce you to Milk & Baby which used to be Milk Smart Mama!
What I Wore..
Smocked Nursing Sun Dress from Milk & Baby / Denim jacket - Loft / Flats in White Metallic - Born Shoes/ Silver Bangle Bracelet Set - Iristy.
I received the Smocked Nursing Sun Dress from Milk & Baby in the gorgeous grass green, just in time for spring & summer weather. This dress is incredibly comfortable and a great dress for breastfeeding, for so many reasons. Right under your busts, the dress lifts easily for nursing access and I like the smocked material because it's a little thicker so if you are wearing nursing pads or still leaking it's not thin and can be seen very well. The thick straps are fantastic, I'm a double D currently so my bras aren't held up by just a thin strap. The straps on the dress allow for a modest classy look, no matter what size bra you have! Dress it up with a cardigan or denim jacket, perfect for the cooler spring days right into the hot of summer. A perfect dress for nursing mothers & would work great for early pregnancy. Also available in several other popular colors.
Milk & Baby carry many products from nursing and maternity wear, kangaroo care products, delivery gowns, baby products & more.
