What I Wore Real Mom Style (Vol 17) #RealMomStyle

Thanks for stopping by and reading and checking out What I Wore Real Mom Style. I was hoping to feature the outfit I wore Saturday (but the weather was bad, so inside pic, camera battery went dead and I didn't get the best photo on my phone) --but what the hey.. I'll throw it out at ya anyway.. so I guess.. here's what I wore Saturday.

Did I mention.. it was craptastic (is that a word?) as far as weather lately here? Saturday it was cold, rainy and disgusting as far as spring weather. I wanted something cozy, comfy and layered for the day. We bummed around at home, ordered pizza, had my in-laws over for a little post-birthday party & chilled out and watched the Wings game. It was the perfect outfit, for reals!
One of my favorite online shops is Conversation Pieces and the grey top just came in the mail. LOVE IT!! More to come on that.. anyway.. that's my bad photo and here's the pieces..

What I Wore
Kicking Around Shabby Tee c/o Conversation Pieces.
Polka Dot Cardigan c/o Conversation Pieces.
Tassle Necklace by Heather Bell.
Black Leggings A.N.A. JcPenny
Angie Red Ballet Flats c/o Brian James.
Stud Diamond Earrings.. Old.

This is an outfit that I wore this week, but this actual photo was taken a few weeks back when I wore it a different time during the week. Because you know, I was lazy this week and didn't get around to getting photos. Boo me! This outfit is put together with several pieces I really like, they fit great and always look cute! You're probably familiar with these pants, I wear them a lot. ;)

What I Wore:
  • Hot Pink Ankle Pants c/o Old Navy.
  • Silver Hoops Shopko.
  • White Tee - Apt. 9 Kohls.
  • Bethanny Flats c/o Born.
  • Beachcomber Cardigan c/o Conversation Pieces.
  • Silver Necklace.. old, don't remember.
This post is about real moms who have real style. While we all fall into the jeans and t-shirt rut we are encouraging our fellow moms to take the time to dress their best and rock it like the rock star moms they are! Did you look especially good this week, were the other moms at the playground complimenting your outfit? Share the look that worked for both potty training, the playground and coffee with a friend and let’s inspire each other with some real mom fashion! Real Mom Style was created by Momma in Flip Flops2 & Thrifty & Chic Mom, two real moms with real fashion.

    1. Thanks Colleen, you are too nice. The pink skinnies really depend on the color. I have a light pair and these. I have to tone them down. :)
